Bigman

Proposals have been developed for a unique three span footbridge at Stockingfield Junction on the Forth and Clyde Canal in Glasgow. The Bigman sculpture will be fabricated as the main 32 metre high (105 feet) tall support pylon from which the bridge is suspended.

A 1:10 scale model has been constructed in the workshop and has been submitted as part of the planning permission application in partnership with British Waterways, engineers Halcrow and landscape architects LKMK.

These 3 metre tall maquettes, created by Andy Scott  in tubular steel, form the basis for the engineers’ design development.
